A. Webaroo supports 32-bit Windows Vista (64 bit support coming soon) and Windows XP SP1 and above. Microsoft .Net 2.0 Framework is also required and if not present, is downloaded during the installation.

A. Webaroo opens in your default configured browser. It works with Internet Explorer 6.0 & 7.0, as well as Mozilla Firefox 1.5 & 2.0+. If your default browser is not one of these, it will open in Internet Explorer only.

A. Webaroo 2 is a major upgrade. We have added support for Videos, Flickr Photos, RSS Feeds, Web Sites and Web History. We also store every video you watch in Firefox, via Firefox Video History. Also there are many user interface and usability improvements. Two of these are very delightful (or irritating if you have a different opinion ☺ )

* Webaroo suggestions. These are suggestions from Webaroo, on things to add to your Webaroo

We have done away with mobile support via sync from Webaroo for Windows and instead have a separate J2ME mobile Webaroo client, which can be can be downloaded and used from the phone itself.

A. WPK is a file format that can be opened with Webaroo. These WPK files contain web sites, videos, RSS feeds, Flickr photos, or a combination of different content. WPK files contain the content that you download to use with Webaroo. You can identify what the content is by checking the filename.

A. We do not support Opera browser yet. You will have to use IE or Firefox for now!

A. It sure is. What's probably happening is that your web browser is in the offline mode. On the File Menu, check if the "Work Offline" mode is selected. If yes, click on it again, to go back to online mode. Webaroo should work now.

A. The operating system of your computer is most probably 64-bit Microsoft Vista. If so, it's something we know and working on rectifying it. If it's another supported operating system, please contact us at support@webaroo.com and we will assist you in solving the issue.

A. Check if an Internet Explorer window is open. Uninstallation doesn't work if any Internet Explorer windows are open. Please close all IE windows before you try uninstalling again.

A. It usually happens on a web page that is a pdf document or contains flash content. It's a known issue and we are working on resolving it.

A. In your browser options for proxy settings, add the following URL to the "Do not user proxy for" setting - my.webaroo.net. Making this change would help you access the content.
