General Information
Q. What is Webaroo?
A. Webaroo 2 for Windows is a software that allows you to download web content on to your Windows PC. By web content we mean - Videos, Flickr Photos, RSS Feeds and Web Sites. It also stores your Internet Explorer and Firefox web history automatically.
Q. What are the system requirements for Webaroo?
A. Webaroo supports 32-bit Windows Vista (64 bit support coming soon) and Windows XP SP1 and above. Microsoft .Net 2.0 Framework is also required and if not present, is downloaded during the installation.
Q. Which browsers does Webaroo work with?
A. Webaroo opens in your default configured browser. It works with Internet Explorer 6.0 & 7.0, as well as Mozilla Firefox 1.5 & 2.0+. If your default browser is not one of these, it will open in Internet Explorer only.
Q. What is different in this edition of Webaroo?
A. Webaroo 2 is a major upgrade. We have added support for Videos, Flickr Photos, RSS Feeds, Web Sites and Web History. We also store every video you watch in Firefox, via Firefox Video History. Also there are many user interface and usability improvements. Two of these are very delightful (or irritating if you have a different opinion ☺ )
* Content alerts. These are little snippets from updated content that you have added to your Webaroo
* Webaroo suggestions. These are suggestions from Webaroo, on things to add to your Webaroo
We have done away with mobile support via sync from Webaroo for Windows and instead have a separate J2ME mobile Webaroo client, which can be can be downloaded and used from the phone itself.
Operational Issues
Q. I couldn't install Webaroo, what could be the issue?
A. If your computer meets the system requirements, then the only reason could be that your user account does not have administrator rights. Please log on to your computer with an account having system administrator rights to install Webaroo.

Q. Why do I need the Flickr API key?
A. You need it to access advanced Flickr options - like preview ,search, order and to add
Photosets. Also if you do not set the key, you will not be able to get more than 20 photos in a
Flickr pack. This is because Flickr photo feeds contain a maximum of 20 photos and without the
API key, Webaroo only accesses these feeds instead of the account itself.
